Here we will focus on the best way to reach the shopping malls in Qatar using the Metro
Actually now already opened two Doha metro lines which is the red line and gold line, still only the third Lind which is the Green and soon will be all in operation so we will go back to our inquiry how to reach the malls on qatar by the metro
After the opening of all three lines with the thirty six stations around the country , so the traveling to the shopping malls has become much easier than before . Also there are some busses around the stations to help the passengers to reach their places easier.
First The Doha Festival City mall
(Red Line) :
If you will take the Red Line and getting down at the last station stop, Lusail-QNB Metro station, you will go to DHFC, IKEA and ACE. As mentioned also Doha Metro has provided for feeders a bus service to reach the mall from this station. This bus will be waiting in the front of the station for your help to reach the Doha festival city mall.
Red Line: The starting station for this line is Al Wakra station. If you use this line , it will take you straight to the last station Lusail station through musheireb station , which is about 14 stops away from starting until the end . From the last stop a metro link you will use (Feeder Bus-M145) will take you directly to the mall.
Gold Line: If you are taking the Gold Line, then go a head to Musheireb station, which is one of the main stations and in this station it will allow you easy to Change to the red line and proceed directly to the end of the red line Lusail-QNB Metro station.
Green Line: If you are starting from Al Mansoura Station you can get off at one of two stations which is Msheireb station or Al Bidda station and then change to the Red line and head straight to the last stop. It’s the same way if you are starting from Al Riffa Station – Al Bidda station is a nice option if you like to avoid the crowd at Msheireb station .
Second is Mall of Qatar
The last station on the Green Line, Al Riffa station, will take you straight to the mall of Qatar .
Red Line: Get off from Msheireb (musheireb) station or Al Bidda station and only take the Green Line a head towards Al Riffa station and the last stop you will find your destination(the mall of Qatar) .
Gold Line: If you are starting from Ras Bu Aboud station or Al Aziziya station , so you will get off at Msheireb (musheireb) station and willchange to the Green Line straight towards Al Riffa station to reach the mall of Qatar .
Green Line: From any station on the Green Line coming from Al Mansoura station, it’s a directly towards the mall of Qatar .
Third is Villagio & Hyatt Plaza
These malls are located at Muaither Area, Al Aziziyah Metro station is right next to Villagio also for Hyatt Plaza, the visitors can use the Metro Link (M313) to reach this mall.
Red Line: starting from Lusail-QNB Station direction or from Al Wakra station to Lusail , you will get out at Msheireb station and take the Gold Line to reach Al Aziziyah stop .
Gold Line: If you are starting from Ras Bu Aboud Station, you will get off straight at Al Aziziyah Station to reach the Villagio mall or get on the feeder bus to go to the Hyatt Plaza mall.
Green Line: If you starting from Al Mansoura Station, get off at Msheireb Station , and change to the gold line straight go to the last stop. It’s the same way even if you are starting from Al Riffa Station .
Fourth is City Centre mall & Gate Mall
These malls are opposite side of each other, the DECC Station is only a walking distance away from the both, do not forget to take some photos after getting out of the DECC station the place there is very nice to take photos I will share some below .
Red Line: you will Get off at DECC Station and only a short walk distance will take you to the malls from the back side of Doha city center mall .
Gold Line: you willGet off at Msheireb station and change direction to the Red line straight to Lusail Station to reach DECC Station.
Green Line: starting from Al Mansoura station or Al Riffa station , you need to get off one of two stations, Msheireb or at Al Bidda station and then change to the Red Line going to Lusail Station to reach the DECC Station.
There are five stations from Msheireb to DECC (MSHEIREB – AL BIAA-CORNICHE-QIC-DECC)
Fifth is Al Asmakh Mall – Centrepoint (Green Line):
Located on Al Sadd Area, only there is one station – Hamad Hospital Station on the Green Line – which can easy get you to this mall. From this station you will walk to the mall as it is not far on other hand you can take the bus number (M210) to get out to the stop opposite side this Mall also if you like the oriental food like grilled chicken or grilled meat you can find some restaurant around this area, also there are a lot os mobile shops for repair, buy and sell .and in the end of the road you will find the mall.
Red Line: two stations (Lusail-QNB and Al Wakra) passengers have a stop at Al Bidda station to get on the Green Line to arrive Hamad Hospital Station. You can also change over at Msheireb Interchange and take the Green Line heading towards Al Riffa Staton .
Gold Line: Trains coming from two stations Al Aziziya and Ras Bu a boud direction will stop at Msheireb (musheireb) station . From this stationyou will ride on the Green Line to reach Hamad Hospital metro Station.
Green Line: The Hamad Hospital metro Station situated on the Green Line and Metrolink (M210) is very near and also you can use from outside the station.
Sixth is Centrepoint- Barwa Village
Ras Bu Fontas metro Station on the Red Line is the station you will get off to reach this mall. Also From this station you can catch the Metro link bus (M126) to reach this mall.
Red Line: If you are traveling by Red Line from Lusail direction or Al Wakra direction, you need to get off on Ras Bu Fontas metro Station and get the bus, almost has bus near the station .
Gold Line: you need to Get down at Msheireb(musheireb) main interchange station and change to the Red Line targeting Al Wakra to reach Ras Bu Fontas metro Station.
Green Line: If you start your metro trip from Al Riffa Station side you can choose either get off at Al Bidda station or at Msheireb (musheireb) station and you will change to the Red Line to reach Ras Bu Fontas metro Station. If you start from Al Mansoura side metro Station you can get off at Msheireb (musheireb) Station and get on the Red line to reach Ras Bu Fontas metro Station.
Seventh is Ezdan Mall – Wakra
To get to this mall you need to get off at Al Wakra metro Station and after catch a Metro Link bus (M134) which will take you to the entrance of the mall.
Red Line: Reach the last stop metro station – (Al Wakra metro Station) – on this Red Line then you need to do get on the Metro Link bus to reach the Mall.
Gold Line: If you ride on the Gold Line, then you need to get down at Msheireb Interchange station then take the Red Line and go directly to Al Wakra Station direction . In this case you need to concentrate not to take the other train to Hamad International Airport Station . There is another option as there are trains go to Hamad international airport on the Red Line.
Green Line: imagine If you starting from Al Riffa station side so you can either get off at Al Bidda station or Msheireb (musheireb) Station and take the metro Train to Al Wakra Station on the Red Line. If you’re travelling from Al Mansoura station side, then you need to get off at Msheireb metro Station and get on the Red line to take the direction of Al Wakra Station.
Eighth is Ansar Gallery Mall
The best way to the station of this mall is the Red Line – (Oqba Bin Nafie) metro Station. From this station you can use the Metro link bus (M125) to reach this Mall.
Red Line: you need to get off at Oqba Bin Nafie metro Station and take the feeder metro link bus (M125) .
Gold Line: you need in this case to change the direction at Msheireb Interchange station and ride on the Red Line in the direction from Lusail station to Al Wakra station to reach your taget Oqba Bin Nafie Station.
Green Line: you will get off at Al Bidda Station or Msheireb (musheireb) Station and take the Red Line in its direction to Al Wakra to get to Oqba Bin Nafie metro Station.
Ninth is Town Centre mall
The best direction to the Town Centre mall is on the metro Green Line, so to get there you’ll need to get off on Al Messila metro Station and catch the Metrolink bus (M209) which will take you straight to this shopping complex area.
Red Line: starting from Lusail-QNB metro Station side you will get off at Al Bidda Station and ride the Green Line targeting Al Riffa metro stationto reach Al Messila station and if travelling from Al Wakra metro Station you can get off at Msheireb metro station and use the Green Line.
Gold Line: also if you like to target the Messila metro Station you need to get off at the Msheireb station or Al Bidda Interchange station and ride on the Green Line targeting Al Riffa.
